The Pink Dragon team's mission is to raise breast cancer
awareness through the support of dragon boat racing, and to
demonstrate that women with breast cancer can lead full, active,
and productive lives.

Members join for a variety of reasons - social, community involvement, inspiration, exercise, challenge
and more.  All breast cancer survivors are welcome, regardless of age, level of ability, and experience.  
Physical ability is not a requirement for membership, however we are a competitive team and each
member is expected to train to develop and maintain a level of fitness that will help the entire team
achieve its "personal best".
About our practices:

Our dragon boat team trains at Marine Park (Mothers Beach) in
Long Beach on Saturday mornings and Wednesday afternoons,
year round.
